Chef Wear Company Creates Original T Shirts and Culinary Clothing for Chefs

Chef wear company is now creating original t shirts and culinary clothing exclusively for chefs. The Extreme Culinary Outfitters company was started by a group of chefs to make shirts that chefs would be proud to wear. These completely unique shirts all feature hand drawn artwork and are now on display by some of the top chefs in commercial kitchens in the U.S. The plain one size fits all chef jackets and chef coats that many chefs wear can now be customized with this unique artwork. Extreme Culinary Outfitters now has t shirts and other culinary clothing available directly online at the following link http://www.extremeculinaryoutfitters.com/shop.

Custom clothing in the textile industry is usually designed by top fashion designers that represent most countries in the world. These designers choose styles, colors and sizes that are believed to best represent the average person. In the culinary world, these designs typically include one color chefs coats, pants or jackets that serve the purpose of stain-free clothing. The Extreme Culinary Outfitters team are chefs themselves and understand the shortage of fashionable clothing available. Chef Joseph Doyle is one owner of the company and recently explained his vision.

"We wanted to put something out there for everyone in the biz that wants to show their identity and style," Chef Doyle said. "All of the designs that we produce are hand drawn and capture the essence and attitude of chefs apart from them serving great food each day," Doyle added.

The t shirt industry brings in an estimated billion dollars annually from sales strictly in the United States. Many target groups are represented through the designs of t shirts and garments. Culinary workers are frequently left out of these estimates and uniform supply companies are designated to distribute chef clothing to commercial kitchens. The health codes that are written into legislation in every state often require kitchens to use clothing that will not interfere with the creation or distribution of food.

"Our t shirts and designs that go onto culinary clothing are made for men and for women," said Chef Joseph Doyle. Women are among the minority when it comes to finding female oriented chef wear compared to industry data. The designs and products that can be branded by Extreme Culinary Outfitters can help any chef in any commercial kitchen to dress more appropriate to match his or her personal style.

The Extreme Culinary Outfitters online store is now open and is shipping t shirts and other chef wear to all 50 women's coats U.S. states. More information can be found by visiting http://www.extremeculinaryoutfitters.com.

15 Health and Beauty Benefits of Water!

Copyright women's jackets (c) 2011 Ann Sandretto

Whether you're looking for younger skin, a healthier body, or shinier hair (or all 3) pure, clear water is the world's best elixir.

Here are 15 ways that water can benefit your health and beauty:

For Younger Looking Skin:

*Firm your skin - For centuries, people in Eastern Europe have gone to bathhouses for water therapy to detoxify and tighten their skin. The proces (which involves a steam room session to open pores, followed by a cold-pool plunge to shock the skin) is easy to replicate at home. Just soak a washcloth in steasming-hot (but bearable) water, then lay it over your face for a minute. Next, wash with your favorite cleanser, then rise with warm water. For your "plunge", splash with cold water about 15 times. According to a beauty expert, "This might sound "old-school" but it really works to invigorate and tighten your pores.

*"Smooth Lines - Wrinkles are less noticeable when skin cells are well-hydrated, accrding to the author of "The Water Secret: The Cellular Breakthrough to Look and Feel 10 Years Younger". He suggests using a moisturizer with humectants, which help attract water to skin cells.

*Add Radiance - Hydrating from the inside makes skin more luminous, nutritionist Keri Glassman says (author of "The O2 Diet") To see results, drink eight glasses a day. "It sounds like a lot but many women need that much to see a difference in their skin."

*Correct Your Complexion - No matter what your skin issues, there's a natural water source from around the world that can help - and a closer-to-home product with the same effect!

- Icelandic Glacial Water -soothes sensitive skin (find it in Skyn Iceland Pure Cloud Cream) - Dead Sea Water - can improve elasticity (find it in Ahava Protective Moisturizer) - Spring water - heals damaged skin (find it in Avene Cream for Intolerant SKin)

Brighten Your Eyes

- A cold compress helps reduce under-eye inflammation but you can get a similar effect with H2O water. "As water evaporates from the skin, the surface becomes cooler", according to cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson. For a long-term solution, trying a cooling, water-rich eye gel, suchas Vichy Aqualia Antiox Anti-Fatigue Eye Stick with brightening citrus polyphenol.

For A Healthier Body

De-Dimple Legs - Losing weight improves the look of cellulite, but hydrating fromt he inside out is the number-one natural way to plump skin so underlying fat cells are les snoticeable. You can hydrate and slim down, by eating water-rich foods and vegetables. One study in Japan showed women who got their H2O this way had smaller waits andlower BMIs than those who sipped their fluids. Some of the water-richest foods are now in season - Watermelon, peaches, and cucumbers.

Tone Muscles - Water is about 12 times more resistant than air, so it takes more effort to move while submerged. This means exercises you do in a pool are extra-effective muscle sculptors. Any easy one to try is - stand in water up to your neck, then move your arms and legs as if you're cross-country skiing for one minute.

Improve Your Sleep - Soaking in a hot bath before bed can help you transition into a deepr, more restful sleep.

Reduce Anxiety - Zen Buddhist monks have incorporated water features in their meditative gardnes for hundreds of years because of their soothing sounds. And studies show listening to nature (particularly running water and waves) helps reduce anxiety.

For Shinier Hair

Add Shine - Hairdressers will tell you that rinsing in cool water leaves hair glossier. The cool temperature constricts the cuticle layer of your hair so it lies flatter, making strands smoother and more reflective.

Prevent Damage - You probably already know that chlorinated or salty water can turn healthy hair into a frizzy mess. But the fix is very easy - rinse your hair int he shower or under a hose before swimming. The strands will absorb their fill of clean water, so they won't be able to soak up as much of the damaging water When you're done in the water, coat your hair with condiitoner for extra protection frm the sun.

Cleanse and Condition - Too much seawater can dry out your hair, but oceans are good for something - their nutrient-rich support marine botanicals (like sea kelp) that can clenase, repair, and detangle. Look for shampoo contaiingsea lettuce and red algae and conditioner with sea kelp (can be found at Drugstore.com)

Tame Your Hair - Soft shower water leaves hair more manageable becuse there are fewminteral salts. If you have hard water, install a water-softening shower filter. It can also help your color from fading.

Create a Lasting Style - Conditioners contain ingredients like dimethicone and plant oils that smoothand detangle your hair. But that slippery feeling can actually make your hair harder to style. You can fix this problem by misting a water-based primer after detangling but before applying styling products. It absorbs some of the oil and rebalances the moisture level of yoru hair so the style you create will hold longer.

Circumstances Impacting The Quality Of Meat

During the period between the birth and maturity of animals, their flesh undergoes very considerable changes. For instance, when the animal is young, the fluids which the tissues of the muscles contain possess a large proportion of what is called albumen.

This albumen, which is also the chief component of the white of eggs, possesses the peculiarity of coagulating or hardening at a certain temperature, like the white of a boiled egg, into a soft, white fluid, no longer soluble, or capable of being dissolved in water. As animals grow older, this peculiar animal matter gradually decreases, in proportion to the other constituents of the juice of the flesh.

Thus, the reason why veal, lamb are white, and without gravy when cooked, is, that the large quantity of albumen they contain hardens, or becomes coagulated. On the other hand, the reason why beef and mutton are brown, and have gravy , is, that the proportion of albumen they contain, is small, in comparison with their greater quantity of fluid which is soluble, and not congealable.

The quality of the flesh of an animal is considerably influenced by the nature of the food on which it has been fed; for the food supplies the material which produces the flesh. If the food be not suitable and good, the meat cannot be good either. To the experienced in this matter, it is well known that the flesh of animals fed on farinaceous produce, such as corn, pulse, is firm, well-flavoured, and also economical in the cooking; that the flesh of those fed on succulent and pulpy substances, such as roots, possesses these qualities in a somewhat less degree; whilst the flesh of those whose food contains fixed oil, as linseed, is greasy, high coloured, and gross in the fat, and if the food has been used in large quantities, possessed of a rank flavour.

It is indispensable to the good quality of meat, that the animal should be perfectly healthy at the time of its slaughter. However slight the disease in an animal may be, inferiority in the quality of its flesh, as food, is certain to be produced. In most cases, indeed, as the flesh of diseased animals has a tendency to very rapid putrefaction, it becomes n fashion jackets ot only unwholesome, but absolutely poisonous, on account of the absorption of the virus of the unsound meat into the systems of those who partake of it. The external indications of good and bad meat will be described under its own particular head, but we may here premise that the layer of all wholesome meat, when freshly killed, adheres firmly to the bone.

Another circumstance greatly affecting the quality of meat is the animal's treatment before it is slaughtered. This influences its value and wholesomeness in no inconsiderable degree. It will be easy to understand this, when we reflect on those leading principles by which the life of an animal is supported and maintained. These are, the digestion of its food, and the assimilation of that food into its substance. Nature, in effecting this process, first reduces the food in the stomach to a state of pulp, under the name of chyme, which passes into the intestines, and is there divided into two principles, each distinct from the other. One, a milk-white fluid, the nutritive portion, is absorbed by innumerable vessels which open upon the mucous membrane, or inner coat of the intestines.

These vessels, or absorbents, discharge the fluid into a common duct, or road, along which it is conveyed to the large veins in the neighbourhood of the heart. Here it is mixed with the venous blood (which is black and impure) returning from every part of the body, and then it supplies the waste which is occasioned in the circulating stream by the arterial (or pure) blood having furnished matter for the substance of the animal. The blood of the animal having completed its course through all parts, and having had its waste recruited by the digested food, is now received into the heart, and by the action of that organ it is urged through the lungs, there to receive its purification from the air which the animal inhales.

Again returning to the heart, it is forced through the arteries, and thence distributed, by innumerable ramifications, called capillaries, bestowing to every part of the animal, life and nutriment. The other principle the in nutritive portion passes from the intestines, and is thus got rid of. It will now be readily understood how flesh is affected for bad, if an animal is slaughtered when the circulation of its blood has been increased by over-driving, ill-usage, or other causes of excitement, to such a degree of rapidity as to be too great for the capillaries to perform their functions, and causing the blood to be congealed in its minute vessels.

Where this has been the case, the meat will be dark-coloured, and become rapidly putrid; so that self-interest and humanity alike dictate kind and gentle treatment of all animals destined to serve as food for man.

What You Need To Know - Insider Tips On Selling Homes

Selling homes can bring lots of fun and excitement but it also takes hard work.

It requires fixing and all those small problems that you have not bothered to look into for many years. You also need to decide if you are going to sell it all by your self or contact a professional real estate broker. The transaction will take time, depending on the local real estate market.

Some mental and emotional preparation is needed too. Are you looking forward to moving up to a new dream house or facing the uncertainty of a major move across the country? This will make you feel so hard leaving the memories behind or keen to start a new life without the home you have lived in.

The turbulent feelings that you will be facing should be replaced by a plenty of practical matters that need more attention.

- The location
- Economic conditions

Agents can prepare a market analysis for you, showing the recent selling prices of three neighborhood properties comparable to your own. They can also help you adjust for the unique features of the home youre selling.

If the seller has less of information around home selling market, its better to contact a realtor. In finding realtor, find someone that you feel comfortable with.

First ask your friends and acquaintances for any recommendations, still the final decision and choice should be based on your needs. Realtor should show you research to support any recommendations, this includes information about recent sales, current listings and recent expired listing in your neighborhood.

The realtor should be more knowledgeable in the area that the home located. And will get better co- operation from other agents. You should ask references from the realtor, he or she should be willing to give you names of previous clients. Look for a realtor who can tells you what he or she knows from experience in the market, and not what they think you want to hear.

Renting Condos in Phoenix is Easy with 5 Simple Steps

As one of the nation's most progressive cities, Phoenix is a perfect mix of contemporary style with lots of charm. The town is home to many luxurious resorts and hotels, plus an array of shops, fine restaurants and recreational activities are easily in reach. So when it comes to renting condos in Phoenix, you should be able to complete the process with ease. Just make sure to follow a few important guidelines to help you along the way. Before you know it, you could be a landlord.

Know your market
One of the most useful tips for renting condos in Phoenix is simply understanding who you're renting to. For example, if your condo is located in the suburbs, you wouldn't want to market it to an up and coming urban professional who wants to be in the heart of the action. Also, take into account the size of your condo when listing it. If it only has one bedroom, then it won't be the ideal residence for a family with small children and a pet. Knowing your market is vital. Asses your property, take note of unique selling points and make sure to cater your listing to the right people.

Highlight neighborhood appeal
Once you know who your potential renters are, now is the time to focus on all your community bells and whistles. Is your condo an older unit, but situated in a prime location, like downtown Phoenix? Perhaps your area has great schools and is in close proximity to appealing shops and restaurants. Or maybe your building offers great access to freeways, allowing for an easier commute. Bottom line, if you can point out a variety of appealing benefits specific only to your neighborhood, then you'll have th women's coats e upper hand when renting condos in Phoenix. Play up these strengths because while appearance is important, some people go after convenience and location.

Make sure everything works properly
A surprising number of property owners lose a potential tenant simply because something either needed to be replaced or repaired in the condo. For example, if your selling features list a garbage disposal and dishwasher, make sure they are in top-notch condition. Some potential renters will open cabinets, browse pantries and test appliances before putting down their hard-earned cash. Make sure you deliver on your word. This could be a make or break your sale.

Do a little cleaning and cosmetic work
No one wants to make a fresh start in someone else is past. Foul odors, dirty carpets and an overall messy condo are all unappealing to renters. You can't say your condo offers breathtaking Arizona desert views, when renters can't see through the windows because of all grime. So make sure the place is extremely tidy with a clean look and feel. You'd be surprised how far a fresh coat of paint and clean carpets can go. Also, you want to ensure the air is fresh when showing the condo. There's nothing like walking into a room and being welcomed by the nice scent of candles or the aroma of fresh baked cookies. Implement a few of these low-cost activities and your job of renting condos in Phoenix will be so much easier.

Be a good landlord
Although you may have found a renter for your property, you need to be prepared for the life of a landlord. To get started, why not read a book, take a class or get online and do your own research? Also, get to know the landlord tenant law in Phoenix. In addition, have everything documented in case any issues come up. Furthermore, to be a good landlord, you need to keep the lines of communication open with tenants and promptly address any questions or concerns they may have.

Although nothing will prepare you for everything when renting condos in Phoenix, following these tips and guidelines will give you a jump start on the entire process.

The Essence Of Pearl Fashion Jewelry

Pearls have been used as in jewelry for a few thousand years now, and pearl necklaces, bracelets, and other pieces of jewelry are the quintessential fashion jewelry that have been valued possessions since pearls were first incorporated into jewelry a few thousand years ago.

The term pearl is today synonymous with fine, rare and valuable. Although, the use of pearls today is largely confined to the jewelry industry, in centuries past, pearls have also been sewn on to costumes for royalty as well. Pearls today are also sometimes incorporated into cosmetics, and the popularity of pearls can largely be attributed to their luster and iridescence.

A pearl begins to develop when a foreign body or an irritant such as a parasite or sand particle enters the soft tissue or mantle of an oyster or other mollusk. As a defensive measure, the mollusk secretes a material to coat the irritant in fine layers. This substance, which is called nacre, is a fine crystalline calcium carbonate, which is held together by an organic glue. The nacre gradually increases in size and hardens, leading to the formation of a pearl.

Prior to the twentieth century, the introduction of the irritant that triggers pearl development was left solely up to Mother Nature. Pearls of this type are called natural pearls. Divers would dive down to the bottom of the seas to collect oysters from pearl beds. The oysters would be pried open and the creature killed in order to identify and collect the pearl. Since the introduction of the irritant needed to trigger the development of the was left entirely to chance, a large number of mollusks were destroyed in order to find just a f women's coats ew pearls. This is what made, and continues to make, natural pearls expensive.

Today, cultured pearls are quite common in the world of fashion jewelry, and this is largely due to the development of peri-culture. For cultured pearls, the stimulus needed to trigger the development of the pearl is provided by man. An external irritant such as a small bead or tissue from a donor mollusk is inserted into the tissue of the host mollusk. Each host oyster can have up to a dozen such insertions, which results in a dozen or more pearls from each host.

Pearl farms in Asia and primarily China are now mass producing cultured pearls. Cultured pearls are significantly less expensive than natural pearls, and therefore very popular with fashion jewelry designers. Although pearls are available in a variety of colors, the most common colors for pearls are white or light cream. The color can vary depending on the mollusk that produces the pearl. Dark colored pearls such as the Tahitian pearls are rare and quite expensive.

In general, other properties being equal are the larger pearls, which are more expensive than smaller pearls. Pearls can generally be found in eight basic shapes such as round, semi round, button, drop, pear, oval, baroque, and circled. Perfectly round pearls are the rarest and most valuable. Semi rounds are also used in necklaces or in pieces where the shape of the pearl can be disguised to look like it is a perfectly round pearl. Button pearls are like a slightly flattened round pearl and can also make a necklace, while drop and pear shaped pearls are largely used in pendants and earrings.

How to Spend Less on Clothes And Still Look Like a Million Bucks

Popular media will make you think that it takes a lot of money to always look great in your clothes. What TV does not tell you, however, is that it is easy to look like you have got a great wardrobe without actually spending for a whole closetful of designer duds. It is called investment dressing, and it is the smart guys way to dressing up and getting the most mileage and outfits out of every buck.

Set Your Sights on Sales
Sales are everywhere these days. Retailers are hurt hard by the decline in consumer spending, and are trying to lure customers into their stores will unbelievable deals.

It might seem like a very female pastime, but more and more guys are getting on the sale-hunting bandwagon because it is practical and you women's jackets online can get really great clothes for less. If you are not exactly the shopaholic type or you are not always at the mall, ask the sales staff at clothing retailers when the next sale will be. And if the sales staff do not know (not all sales are announced beforehand), sign up for email newsletters so you are always updated.

Keep It Classic
You wont believe the amount of money you will save just by limiting your wardrobe to classic pieces like clean white shirts and straight-cut pants. Pieces like those are very versatile and timeless, which means you can easily switch them around with other clothes to make entirely new outfits. They also do not go out of style, so you wont look like a disaster if you wear them 3 or 5 years down the road.

Looking for classic pieces is also a good idea because you can find them just about everywhere. The plain white shirts you see in Target, for example, will look about the same as the ones you see in an Armani boutique. Dont completely rule out buying high-end brands, though, because they are the ones that have the highest quality. And because you will end up using the items again and again, every cent will be well worth it.

Be sure to invest in key pieces like good black leather shoes, two-piece suits and sport coats. Get items like those from trusted brands or even better, get them custom-made. A good tailored sport coat can easily make up for old or faded shirts in a pinch, and a single pair of high-quality leather shoes will easily outlast five generic pairs.

Alter and Accessorize
Do you still have that one-size-too-large shirt that you got last Christmas? Did you leave those too-long slacks you got for your birthday in the wrapping paper? Make the most out of these free clothes by simply getting them altered. It will cost you anywhere from $5 to $50 per piece depending on the item, but you will end up with a completely new article of clothing that is exactly fitted to your body. Most people would call that a bargain.

While it is true that just sticking to classics will give you a limited number of outfit options, you can easily multiply that number by just adding a few accessories here and there. Changing to a different colored belt or a more brightly hued tie will instantly change the character of any outfit. Besides, getting a new tie or another belt should not cost you more than $20 a pop, so you do not stand to lose much by it.

Dressing well does not require you to spend a lot but simply to spend smartly. With a little practice and a lot of window shopping, you will be surprised at how much further your $200 can go on fashion street.

Do's And Don'ts For Separation Anxiety In Dogs

If separation anxiety in dogs is a problem for your pet, there are many things you can do to help.? There are also many things you can do to make the problem worse.? Here's a list of do's and don'ts for dealing with dogs with separation anxiety.? We'll look at the "don'ts" first, and then finish up with the "do's."

Here Are Some Don'ts For Dealing With Dogs With Separation Anxiety

The most important thing you need to know is that you should never punish your dog when he's acting out because he's scared.? This will only make him even more anxious.? Plus, unless you catch him in the act of destructive dog behavior, he won't know what he's being punished for.

You need to rethink how you interact with your dog. The problem of separation anxiety in dogs is often related to dominance issues.? A dog who thinks he's the pack leader will be anxious when his followers leave.? This is because in the wild, although the leader can leave the pack for a while, the other members of the pack can't leave the leader.

To assert your position as pack leader, try these suggestions.? Instead of giving your dog attention every time he asks for it, you should be the one initiating contact with him.? Feed him after you eat, because pack members eat only after the alpha dog has eaten.? When you go for a walk, make sure he is either walking next to you or behind you.? Don't allow him to pull on his leash ahead of you, because the pack leader always goes first.?

Discourage your dog from becoming too attached to you.? Don't let him sit or lie down within a yard of you.? You may need to rearrange furniture or put something on the floor so he can't get too close.?

Don't let your dog sleep on your bed.? Ideally, he shouldn't even be in the same room.? Start out by making him sleep at the foot of the bed, and then get him a dog bed to sleep in.? Eventually move his bed out of your bedroom.

If there are other people in the household, take turns feeding the dog and taking him for walks.? This way your dog won't become too dependent on one person.

Here Are Things You Should Be Doing To Help A Dog With Canine Separation Anxiety

You may be surprised to find out that your dog knows you're leaving a lot sooner than you think he does.? You may go take a shower, comb your hair, put on your work clothes.? Your canine friend certainly notices these things, and h women's jackets e associates your doing them with your leaving.?

Your goal here is to desensitize your dog to these cues that you're leaving.? Do these same things, but then stay home.? Get your car keys, and put on your coat.? Then sit back down.? This is a slow process, and you'll have to do it many times over several weeks, but eventually your dog won't get upset when you do them.

Do make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise.? You should take him for a long, vigorous walk, both in the morning before you leave, and again in the evening.? This will use up excess energy, and help him to remain calmer in your absence.

Keep your exits and entrances low-key.? Ignore your dog for twenty minutes before you leave, and again for twenty minutes when you come home.? Don't encourage him when he gets worked up when you come home.? You want him to learn to accept your comings and goings in a matter-of-fact manner.?

Do invest in a good dog training course.? You'll want to choose one that focuses on teaching you how a dog's mind works.? If you don't understand? how your dog thinks, it's very easy to give him the wrong idea when trying to train him.

Avoid wasting your time by inadvertently teaching your dog the wrong things.?? A good dog training course is the easiest way to solve the problem of separation anxiety in dogs.

Is Vintage Fashion Coming Back Stronger?

It is now seen to be acceptable or even 'cool' to wear accessories from the 1940's or to raid your mum's wardrobe in the hope of finding an authentic vintage item.

Collecting and wearing vintage items means you will never go out of fashion and you can be sure that you won't have to suffer the embarrassment of turning up to your office party in the same dress as your manager.
Here are a number of tips to follow to help you in finding fabulous vintage fashion pieces

Where to find?
Charity shops are a cheap and easy place to dig out a vintage bargain. Try and visit the shops that aren't in a large city or town as you are more likely to be rewarded with genuine vintage pieces, and remember rummaging through items of clothing and such like is all part of the fun.

Online second hand stores such as eBay are a good place to look but often items go for a large amount of money if they are true vintage but often you can find an item like a brooch that hasn't created that much interest and buy for quite cheap.

Beware when shopping online for items that are listed as vintage when they are simply just items that are new that have been made to try and look old and vintage.
Markets such as Portobello and Camden in London are where you will find many others like yourself also seeking vintage women's jackets inspiration and items.

In most towns there are often shops dedicated to vintage fashion often tucked down side streets. Be prepared to pay a higher price for items found in actual vintage shops as they have done all the hard work for you and found the items, all that's left for you to do is choose which items have tempted you.

Condition and size?
It is often easy to spot genuine vintage clothing from the labels and the fabric used. Older clothes also tend to have a lot of attention to detail within the tailoring.

It's a must to try on vintage clothes before purchasing as women and men were a lot smaller fifty years ago but due to improved nutrition we are now a lot bigger and therefore its imperative to try on before buying. The same applies to shoes as a vintage size 5 is not the same as today's size 5. A comfortable fit is what you are after as with all clothes if it feels and looks good then size doesn't matter.

It is a lot easier to find women's vintage clothing than it is men's, this could be due to women taking greater care of their clothes and therefore them lasting longer.

Vintage clothing has obviously been worn before and so some wear and tear is inevitable but always check stress points on items such as elbows, under the arms, zips etc as some wear is often repairable but if the damage is too worn eventually the item will disintegrate.

Finally when buying vintage fashion items remember:
-Search markets, jumble sales and charity shops for bargain finds.
-Internet auctions are also a good source of vintage clothes and accessories.
-Visit related museums and read fashion books to give you inspiration and designers to look out for.
-Price depends on age, beauty, condition and maker.
-Designer dresses fetch the highest prices.
-Consider the condition, size and age of the dress, if you're going to wear it.

The best thing about collecting vintage items is the pleasure you get when wearing it.

Japanese Chin Puppy And Dog Information

The women's coats Japanese Chin is a happy lap dog with a magnificent coat. She loves everyone and is good with pets and other dogs. She can be a good watch dog and likes older, respectful children. She does not require a lot of exercise so she is ideal for smaller apartments or houses.

*Approximate Adult Size. The approximate adult size (two years old or older) of the Japanese Chin is 7 to 11 inches to the withers (highest point of the shoulder) and up to 9 pounds. There are two classes, under 7 pounds and over 7 pounds.

*Special Health Considerations. Most dog breeds have certain inherited health problems associated with that specific breed and the Japanese Chin is no exception. Be on the look out for subluxated patellas, breathing problems, low blood sugar, teeth problems and their eyes are high profile and subject to injury. This disease list is an informative guideline only. Other diseases may also be significant threats, please contact your veterinarian for a complete list.

She should visit the veterinarian several times in the first year for shots, boosters and check up. Then, as an adult, she should visit the veterinarian yearly for shots and check up. As she gets older, six years and on, she should visit the veterinarian twice a year for check ups and shots. Remember; avoid feeding your dog sweets.

*Grooming. The Japanese Chin has a long silky coat, that can become matted easily. She should be brushed and combed daily, and professionally groomed occasionally.

Her ears should be checked once a week and be kept clean. If you have her professionally groomed, make sure ear cleaning and inspection is part of the package. No water or excess fluid should get in the dogs ears, and do not try to irrigate the ears. Ear cleaning is too complicated and critical to instruct here. Look for hair growing in the ear canal, excess wax, or moisture. If her ears have a discharge, foul odor or she seems to be in distress and you suspect an infection, or tumor, consult your veterinarian.

Her teeth should be brushed at least twice a week with toothpaste and toothbrush designed for dogs. Brushing removes the accumulation of plaque and tartar which can cause cavities (rarely) and periodontal disease. Dog periodontal disease can lead to pain, loss of teeth, bad breath and other serious disease.

Her toenails may need to be examined for growth and clipped regularly. The toenails of the rear feet grow slower than the toenails of the front feet. Generally a guillotine type trimmer is the best for this chore and competent instructions to accomplish this can be found on the net.

*Life Span. The Japanese Chin can live between 9 and 10 years with proper nutrition, medical care and excellent living conditions.

Bengal House Cat and Kitten Information

The Bengal house cat is a hybrid that is designed to look like an Asian Leopard cat. Muscular and sturdy, the Bengal house cat can weigh between fourteen to twenty pounds for males and ten to twelve pounds women's jackets for females. They have small rounded ears, a spotted coat and a beautiful, wild look. There are many variations in coat color and eye color.

Temperament

The Bengal is a loving cat that enjoys the company of people. Active and quite vocal, the Bengal house cat actually likes water and given a chance will often play in it.

Health

Cats who reside in the house should generally visit the veterinarian yearly, unless health problems are evident. Cats who enjoy the outdoors may need to see the vet more often, perhaps as often as four times a year.

When you take your cat to the vet, be sure to bring along a fresh stool sample so the vet can do a fecal exam to check for internal parasites such as tapeworm, round worm, whip worms and hook worms. The vet can also check for external parasites like fleas, ticks and ear mites. The veterinary visit should include a complete dental examination and if needed a cleaning.

Decisions about vaccinations can be made at this time. Cats eight years of age and older are considered geriatric and additional blood and urine tests may be necessary to screen for any health problems. At about six months of age, the kitten should also be examined for sexual maturity and decisions about birth control should be made.

Bengal House Cat History

The Bengal cat is a hybrid developed to look like a wild Leopard. They are awesome cats that are bred to look wild but have excellent, tame temperaments. Some cat associations have accepted this breed but some have not. Because it is a hybrid, the Cat Fanciers Association has not accepted it as of this writing.

The more lenient, The International Cat Association has accepted it. This breed is a hybrid derived from crossing the Burmese, Abyssinian, American Shorthair and the Asian Leopard Cat. The credit for this breed is often given to Jean Sudgen who later became Jean Mill.

The ancestor of all domestic cats is the African Wildcat, the genus Felis Lybica. This genus is comprised of smaller cats. Cats are thought to have been domesticated with the advent of farming and the storage of grain. The grain attracted rats and other vermin which naturally attracted wild cats.

As time evolved, certain of these cats were domesticated for the mutual benefit of both cat and man. The African Wildcat has certain features which is obvious in the housecat of today.

Bengal House Cat Kittens

Unlike puppies, kittens should not be separated from their mother until twelve to sixteen weeks of age. Very important emotional, mental, medical and developmental stages that the kitten needs to experience happen during this time period and should not be curtailed.

Kittens separated from their mother at too young an age often fail to gain weight fast enough, have immunity problems because they have not had enough mothers milk, have eating and eliminating problems, and can develop socialization problems.

Every cat and kitten is an individual so not everything in this information may be correct for your cat or kitten. This information is meant as a good faith guideline only.

Japanese Chin Dog Breed Profile

A Japanese Chin is a very happy little dog. A good specimen of the Japanese chin is usually very beautiful, outgoing and charming.

They have a few characteristics similar to a cat. They will hold toys, or certain types of food between their front paws.

Although a Japanese Chin has a fairly profuse coat of hair, they do not necessarily need a coat during women's coats online the winter. It is probably just a little more fun and entertaining to provide some outer wear for them. Their small size makes them ideal for doggie fashion in my opinion. But then again, I am partial to the small dogs. People who like the bigger breeds also like to dress them up in the latest of doggie fashion.

The Japanese Chin is a small dog, but not actually all that delicate. You just need to use some common sense in looking after them.

If you are a family deciding upon a dog, the decision should be made only after a great deal of thought. When you get the dog it will very quickly become an important part of the family and is likely to remain in your family for many years. If you decide upon a Japanese Chin puppy instead of an adult, do not bring one home under the age of 8 weeks.

Most reputable, responsible Japanese Chin breeders would not even think of letting one go under 8 weeks. If you run into a breeder who is anxious to let a Japanese Chin puppy go under 8 weeks, do not hesitate to look elsewhere. This is much too young and would be a sign of an irresponsible breeder. You will also want to be sure your 8 week old Japanese Chin puppy has had at least one shot and is up-to-date on all dewormings for age.

Be not mistaken, bringing home a Japanese Chin puppy is like bringing home a newborn baby. It will mean regular feeding times (according to your breeder's schedule and recommendation), play times, sleep times and training times. Raising a Japanese Chin puppy is very much a pleasure but also very much of a chore and hard work. If done properly, however, you will end up with a wonderful friend and companion for many years. The life expectancy for a Japanese Chin can be as long as 14 years or more.

Be not mislead by all the untruths you read about these small dogs in that they are "all" prone to many health problems, lots of vet bills and short lives. Always remember, the size of any creature does not dictate its life expectancy or health problems. There are many, many large breed purebred dogs that do not make it past year two of their lives. People who are trying to kill the influence of their competitors a lot of times are the ones spreading all these lies about the smaller breed dogs. Some people are so afraid of losing a dollar to someone else on a sale. I think most consumers are not so ignorant that they cannot see through all that hype.

When you choose a Japanese Chin puppy from a litter look for the puppy that is the extrovert. Japanese Chin puppies should be lively, outgoing and curious. The body should feel firm, no ribs sticking out or no protruding tummies. Eyes should bright and free of discharge. The tail should be up and wagging. A Japanese Chin puppy should be a mixture of mischief, curiosity, playfulness and quiet serenity when asleep. These are all signs of a healthy Japanese Chin puppy.

Weatherproofing Your Tent Has Many Advantages

Think your tent is weatherproof? Many campers do, only to find themselves waking up drenched in the middle of the night. If you prefer a dry sleeping bag, make sure your camping tent really is weather-ready.

When you purchase a new tent, read the label carefully. This means to also read between the lines. Understanding some common terms can help you decide just how waterproof it really is.

Many people mistakenly believe that if a tent is water- or weather-resistant it will not leak. In reality, the material will resist leaks in a light or short rainfall. Weather- or wat fashion coats er-resistant tents usually have not had any additional weatherproofing treatment. Instead, the word resistant refers to the inherent ability of that tent's fabric to keep rain out. In a light rainfall that lasts a few minutes to a couple hours, it will probably do fine. However, if it rains heavily or for several hours straight, water may begin to penetrate the fabric.

If you camp frequently or in areas where regular rain is likely, you should consider greater protection. There are three options available in this case:

1. Purchase a camping tent that is waterproof. A tent labeled as waterproof is reasonably assured not to leak. It also means that the fabric has been treated with a sealing agent. It may also mean that it is made from a type of material that is more naturally resistant to water. The material might also be more tightly woven to keep rain out.

2. Purchase a rainproof cover or tarpaulin. Some people prefer this method. Tents that are rain-sealed or have fabric that is tightly woven sometimes don't breathe well. Using an untreated tent may allow for better airflow. A rainproof cover or tarp can then be draped or hung over the entire tent to keep water out.

3. Treat your tent with a sealant. You can increase the water-resistance of the fabric by applying a chemical sealer. Sealants can be purchased in most hardware and camping supply stores.

If you decide to apply a sealant to your tent, there are a few things to remember. Like any product, you may get what you pay for. If you skimp to save money, you might end up getting soaked anyway. Read labels to make sure the sealant that you purchase will work for the type fabric that your camping tent is made of. It's best to buy one that is designed specifically for tents, rather than an all-purpose sealant.

Be sure to follow the directions carefully. You will usually have to apply at least two coats. Even if the label does not specify two coats, you should do this anyway. Apply sealant outdoors to avoid inhaling fumes. Allow to dry thoroughly between coats. You should allow a minimum of 24 to 48 hours of drying time. This will ensure that the sealant adheres strongly to the fabric. Allow the second coat to dry another for 24-48 hours before using your tent.

Tent seams are very prone to leaking. This includes the stitching around zippers. It's important to note that spray sealants do not always provide the best coverage for seams. To rainproof seams, you should use a brush-on gel or wax. Apply at least two coats (both to the outside and the inside of seams) and allow each coat to cure between applications.

Finally, give your tent a test run before you hit the woods. Pitch it in the backyard and make sure it really does stand up to rain. If you can't wait for a downpour, give it a good soak with the water hose and see how it performs. If water is still breaching the fabric, apply another coat of sealant and try again. This will ensure that you stay warm and dry the next time you camp out.

Stop Problems Happening Whilst Painting Aluminum

Anyone with older aluminum siding is well aware of the paint chalking problem. Just rub your hand along the old siding and the chalky old paint will be all over your palm. Trying to get paint to stick to this could be a real problem. This is due to oxidation of the paint. Siding manufacturers originally referred to this problem as a benefit. They called it, self cleaning, as the paint literally washed off the house.

Older vinyl siding is also a problem. UV light fades vinyl siding over time and the siding becomes very unsightly.

Many unfortunate homeowners and contractors have experienced the dismay, when they repainted their homes, only to find the new paint peeling off a few months later. Both problems with older aluminum and vinyl siding can be overcome with proper cleaning, surface preparation and re-painting.

Cleaning ,you will need to rent a powerful pressure washer with at least 3000 psi. You will want a pressure washer powerful enough to remove most of the old chalky paint off the aluminum siding or, to remove any dirt buildup on the old vinyl siding.

Start at the top course of siding and work your way down. You will need to keep the pressure wand fairly close to the siding surface to effectively remove the old paint. In some areas, you may find that the paint comes off to the bare metal. Be careful near windows, corners, soffits and doorways. The water under pressure, can be forced behind these areas causing damage. You can add TSP or other cleaning solutions to the reservoir for mildew, algae or other grime built up. If you do use a cleaning solution, be sure to completely rinse it off with your pressure washer. You should allow your home to dry for several days in dry, sunny weather before proceeding to the painting process.

If you are repainting vinyl siding or vinyl coated aluminum siding, you may need a surface de-glosser. This is a solvent type product used to remove any shine on the surface and to help your first coat to adhere better. You will have no trouble finding a good de-glosser at your local paint supply store.

Application, i like a commercial type airless sprayer. It will draw the paint directly out of your 5 gallon paint pails, through the hose and into your spray gun. These are available to rent at many tool rental locations and even some paint supply stores that supply contractors. If your paint is real high quality latex, it will be thicker than regular latex paint and will require a more powerful airless sprayer.

Priming, this step is equally as critical as the step above. Actually, the cleaning and surface preparation phases will make or break the results of your project.

I like a latex paint additive called emulsa-bond for the first coat. Emulsa-bond is a bonding agent you will add to the first coat of paint or primer, to help it to bond to the old siding.

I buy the best grade exterior latex paint, rather than oil or other solvent based paint. Latex paint seems to keep up with the expansion and contraction of the siding very well. The high quality latex paint I buy needs no primer. I add the bonding agent directly into the first color coat. Check with your paint supplier whether or not to use a primer. The rule of thumb is, when in doubt, use a primer. If you use a primer, add the bonding agent into it before applying. There are also bonding agents available for oil or other solvent based paints. One type is called penet women's jackets rol. These are usually available at a painting contractor supply store.

Many contractors will spot prime areas, especially where bare metal is exposed. I dont like spot priming because it can lead to an uneven looking top coat. When I put a primer coat on, I prime the entire home. This gives a uniform surface finish later on.

Finish Coat, your top coat will be color only. You should check with your paint manufacturer to see if you need one or two top coats after the base coat. Like I mentioned above, buy the highest quality exterior paint.

In Conclusion, proper cleaning and surface preparation are the two main ingredients to a successful painting job. A bonding agent in the first coat is also very critical to avoid paint peeling off later on. Using these techniques, Ive re-painted homes that have lasted far longer than the original factory applied finish.
